ANP was present at one of the biggest fresh produce trade fairs in the world
The ANP – Associação Nacional de Produtores de Pera Rocha (National Association of Pera Rocha Producers) was present at the 10th edition of Fruit Attraction, one of the biggest fruit & veg trade fairs in the world, which took place in Madrid from 23rd to 25th October.
The ANP, as part of the Portugal Fresh – Associação para a Promoção das Frutas, Legumes e Flores de Portugal stand, was there to promote this Portuguese variety not only in the Spanish market but also to every corner of the world, as this business event received a record of more than 70 thousand visitors, from 120 countries.
Spain, the biggest destination of Portuguese fruit & veg received over 4.3 tonnes of Pera Rocha during the last marketing season and is one of the strategic destinations identified by ANP. In total, around 60% of domestic production of Pera Rocha do Oeste is for export.
